The classic injection rate
When your panels produce more than you consume, the surplus goes to the grid at a very low rate set by your provider.
Sell to the community
By joining WattUnity, your surplus is shared with consumers in the community, at a collectively set price, higher than the feed-in tariff. You value every kWh produced, locally.

Vendre à la communauté
En rejoignant WattUnity, votre surplus est partagé avec les consommateurs de la communauté, à un prix supérieur du tarif d'injection. Vous valorisez ainsi chaque kWh produit en surplus.

FAQ
Here are some frequently asked questions on the subject
An energy community is a grouping of citizens, neighbors, businesses, or local authorities that produce, share, and consume together locally produced green electricity. Recognized by Belgian law, it aims for renewable, local, and cheaper energy while maintaining economic value within the territory.
Almost everyone: individuals, self-employed professionals, businesses, and local authorities connected to the distribution grid in the relevant area. You can participate as a consumer (you buy shared energy), as a producer (you sell your surplus), or as a prosumer (both).
Producer members feed their surplus green electricity into the grid. A distribution key allocates it among the community’s consumer members. You continue to use the distribution grid as usual; only the shared portion is billed at the community’s advantageous rate. A quarterly statement provides a detailed breakdown of everything.
Yes. Energy sharing covers part of your consumption; for the remainder, you keep a standard electricity supply contract. You also keep your existing meter and grid connection. The community works alongside your current supplier, with no disruption or interruption to your electricity supply.
